nodes. I am having a Da Vinci robotic surgery, but I wonder how the organs do come out of the body. Do the stretch the incisions to take them out? or do they come out of the vagina?
The surgery is done through robotic instruments via minimally invasive incisions ( less than 2 cm) on the abdomen. The uterus and parametrium will be delivered through a small incision inside the vagina. The actual non pregnant uterus is not very big ( size of a pear - around 6.5 x 4 cm) so it doesn't need a very large incision. Hope this helps. Da Vinci has very good results compared to conventional surgery.Good luck!
