How does Congress support the 9/11 bill that would guarantee health care the first responders?
Not only is the White House is not talking about it but Sen. like Durbin and Kyl are already skeptical esp. when this entitlement is est. to cost $7B and will be funded through corp. tax. Are we digging more holes or what?
Already the economy is facing tremendous trials and there are a lot of unanswered questions. If the burden of such a bill is still placed on the American people, I believe it portends much tears and broken promises.
9/11 has had a lot of benefits and costs, for various parties ranging from defense contractors to first responders and advocates of a surveillance state.
