In Yuma, so I cam cross the border to Mex and get affordable Medical care, what's wrong with that?
As an individual nothing, you should be commended for using your money wisely.
As a nation........lots........
It is shameful that a citizen of any country ( and we are a well developed one) should have to cross their borders to purchase at an affordable price, a medication that was probably produced in their native country.
Health care reform could have been so much simplier.
Regulate the costs!
There is no reason any American citizen should be homeless, hungry or unable to buy common medications. No tax hikes needed. Better manage the funds we have, make use of the empty buildings, reduce needless government control and regulations.
Many would not have any dental or medical care if they had pay U.S. prices. In Algodones alone, just 7 miles from Yuma, thousands of Americans and Canadians cross into Mexico to get dental care from the more than 350 dentists who cater to tourists. I don't think there's anything wrong with people trying to take care of themselves the best way they can.
