Have you ever tried freewriting? In what ways has it helped you?
Freewriting has taught me to write much faster and more honestly about how I really feel. That's how I write many of my HubPages articles. Of course I edit them after I'm finished writing, but I really think freewriting is the purest form of writing. The only most HONEST form. Sort of like freestyle rapping. Haha.
I do this a lot, especially when creative writing. The end result looks terrible but for me it is easier to focus on the ideas first and make the sentences look pretty later on.
I didn't take away much from it, but my therapist took one look and started screaming, trying to claw his eyes out, so I guess that was confirmation I'm "not quite right".
