What can be done to control and minimise the usage of drugs amongst teens?
nothing. as long as things like pot are illegal, it makes all other drugs just as appealing. teens figure that if they are smoking an illegal drug they are cool and if smoking pot is cool then stronger addictive drugs are even cooler. drugs among teens is a huge issue whereas though alcohol is still an issue, due to being legal it quickly loses it's flair.

There is indeed... it all starts at home. Parents should inculcate into the child's mind/brain nothing but good. I'm a living example of it.
I have friends who are drug addict and even obsess with sex. But because my parents raised me well and never try to put something bad in my mind while I was young, I am able to resist anything that I think is bad for me.
...and I will do the same with my daughter.
