If abortion were made illegal, what should be the criminal penalty for having one?
I personally think this question is a personal one and asked by someone who has obviously no first hand experience and secondly no thought to anyone who has been through something like this.
For many years I stood on the fence & always stated that it was down to the individual to do what is right for themselves.
Then realising some were forced into this avenue by others some well meaning some not.
& then one day I was put into the position of making that desision.
Due to going out and having a good time & then falling asleep on my sofa and being raped by someone I thought I could trust, during sleeping.
I admit it was the hardest thing I ever decided, and carried out, but to this day I do not regret my desision. Imagine all those people that have a high risk of birth defects of have an unborn shild with defects who are in no position to cope or offer that child the requirements that would be needed.
However, even if it was illegal, it never stopped anyone before, it merely ment that back street illegal abortions took place.
I think so long as it is the actual persons decision and not one of someone putting pressure on someone to do it then fine.
I think you have to weigh up the odds of what an unwanted pregnancy could do, to other statisics, child abuse, abandonment, neglect, adoption.
I think that most people who have had an abortion would tell you that the years after bring there own form of punishment.
I'm sincere in wanting an answer. This question is meant for those who oppose abortion. I presume since abortion is murder then those who seek abortions should be charged with attempted murder? And those who successful get them should be charged with first-degree murder and subject to the death penalty? And I presume we should keep track of women who might travel to other countries to get an abortion?
I'm very curious what the answer to this question might be for somebody who is actively supporting making abortion illegal.
Having abortion is the same as murder so I feel that they should get life without probation . O even death my chair.

Do you think subliminal tv commercials should be made illegal? It seems some fast food companies have been including subliminal messages in their ads. Should it be made illegal to do so? Why is it ok for them to mess with our mind?

I just had a comment saying that spaying and neutering should be illegal because they are more complicated procedures than cropping and docking a dog's tail.Do you agree or disagree? I thought that it would be interesting to see how many people agree with this statement.

How does a government and society expect people to value all life including themselves and each other, while at the same time, the government can influence and enforce the death penalty and abortion? If people see abortion and "DP" as justified when someone is inconvenienced or found...

A verdict has been reached in the Nikolas Cruz case. This pathetic excuse for a human being gunned down students and staff members of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in my State of Florida, as if he was at a carnival shooting gallery! A school he had previously attended, where students knew...
