Anybody actually successfully wears a mouthguard for grinding teeth?

Unfortunately I've never gotten myself to wear one. It feels like a straightjacket on my teeth....ha anyways ummmmm yeah I can't stand them, and if I have a cold It's really hard to breathe out of your mouth! sad  So have you been able to do it, and how?

I'm guessing your talking about the ones you get from your dentist for night grinding.  I couldn't do it.  I tried and tried and and to take it out many times.  There was also one time I ended up grinding the thing so it was not usable.

However years later I've spent far more money than I had to of if I had of just worn it.

I tried it also.  It's hard to get used to.  So I just try my very best not to grind in my sleep.

I've wondered about this as well. I do a really good job of grinding my teeth each night unfortunately. But since I also wear a cpap for sleep apnea there is a limit to how much stuff my face can accomodate while sleeping....
