Have you ever asked your doctor for a prescription drug you saw on TV
Pharmaceutical companies spend billions on advertising of prescription medications. Is this affecting the drugs doctors give patients?
Yes I have asked my doctor about some medicines I see on TV, and even those I see in the magazines. My doctor is kinda particular about what medicine I take especially because I have some allergies and so I don't take any medicine that she has not approved. Ads do play a role in introducing to us drugs that we might not know of but in the long run I do believe that what my doctor says about it goes a longer way with me. I don't know about other people though.
No. I let my doctor choose what he thinks is best for me as that is his job. I don;t want to compromise my care by recommending something that I know nothing about.

This past week President Trump laid out his new plan to decrease prescription drug prices for American's. Drug prices have been skyrocketing for many years, it's about time Government got involved, and fought back against huge pharmaceutical companies that have made outrageous profits off the backs...

I work in the retail industry in which my location has a pharmacy within the establishment. I catch those that commit theft and attempt fraud scams within this place. I am pretty new to this business and it seems I am dealing with more prescription fraud incidents than I am with actual merchandise...
