If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don't like and like so many things we don't do?
Because life isn't always about doing the things you like. There are responsabilities and then there is pleasure. Also sometimes to get what we want we need to do things we don't like - like if you want to be top of your class you'll have to skip the party and study. In the ends sometimes sacrificies are needed but it pays off.
I think because most of us have to get a job to pay for our lifestyle. The jobs do not always allow us to do the things we want or like, due to time and money constraints.
In a perfect world we would all be doing only what we liked to do. Unfortunately, this is an imperfect world.
