Would you rather be an unhappy CEO or a happy writer?

In this question the CEO makes a lot of money but he or she is unhappy, and the writer does not make a lot of money but he or she is happy. Which would you rather be?

HAPPY WRITER!!!  My dream is to stay at home and write.  CEOs are stuffy and boring and GREEDY.  Writers are creative and fun!!

Happy writer anyday...because it has to follow, for me, at least, that I have enough money to meet my "needs" (doesn't have to be much...just enough); otherwise I would be an unhappy writer!

I would assume an unhappy CEO doesn't have enough money for whatever he/she does! it is all in the enjoyment of the task at hand! There has to be some happy CEO's that feel quite satisfied in life.

Easy answer.   Better to be a happy writer.   The ultimate end goal is to be happy.  Some people think that lot of money would make a person happy.  But often that is not the case.

In fact, I rather be a happy writer than a happy CEO.

Thanks for your answers! I know it might seem like a question with an obvious answer but I posted the question because I had a discussion with someone who actually said that he would pick the happy writer if he was single. But he said that he would pick the unhappy CEO if he had a family, because he would want to make sure that he makes a lot of money in order to provide for them. I thought that his answer was interesting.

That's easy; a happy writer.  I'm writing now and couldn't be happier.  Now if I could just get paid to do it, that would be even better.

I would rather be a happy writer. What will I do with my money if I am not happy? Money is not everything. It can't buy happiness or love. smile
