What is the biggest insecurity you've been able to overcome, and what helped you do it?
I think my biggest past insecurity was fear of rejection. Now I feel so loved by my family and am so stressed in my life that I just don't care anymore About being rejected, I mean.
Well, the biggest one I'm willing to talk about here in an open forum would have to be related to my writing, or receiving feedback in general. I used to be really sensitive to criticism growing up (mostly because of pressure to be ~the best~ from outside forces) but I've always wanted to be a published author. As I've gotten older I've learned that...it is what it is. People are always going to say not so nice things about my abilities, but it doesn't mean I'm worthless or will never improve. And, most of the time, it's not even personal.
