Would you still help your friend even if she/he refuses to be helped?
Think about a situation where you know that this friend can't go on without accepting other's people help...
No..I will not. After my mother had a stroke, she had to have extensive physical therapy but insisted on doing things herself after the therapy. I would offer to do things for her but she refused...it is a statement of independence and no matter how much I wanted to insist, I honored her wishes, as did everyone else. When she could not do something herself, she asked for help.

Would you still be in a friendship if she constantly tries to compare herself with you?Sometimes envy can get in the way of a friendship. Would you want to be in a friendship if the other person buys what you have and wants to be like you?
