Hi there, I used to have trouble sleeping sometimes during the night. Whenever i work on computer for long hours i had trouble getting sleep.I tried camomile tea with honey. It worked for me like a charm.. You can try and let me know if it works for you.
I make a glass of warm milk with a 1/3 teaspoon of nutmeg and a tsp of honey - it is so comforting. and read some mental fodder, that is,nothing that requires too much brain activity.It usually works.
I do not suffer from Insomnia and am thankful to The Lord
for The Blessing.
Sleeplessness ... is not a Disease ... its a Physical Condition ... caused
by "Anxiety" ...
And Anxiety, either Originates in General Ignorance ... or not Knowing ...
The Truth !
Insomnia can also be caused by Knowing, but Mistrusting, the Known.
The Rejecting of Truth ... by Imposing your ideas ... Considering Theories, as being Superior to, The Truth.
For there Is only one, Truth ...
Truth ... is the Unalterable Reality ... learn to Accept, the Reality ...
Because, things cannot always go the way you want things to go.
So Pray ... Trust ... The Truth ... God.

I used to be super insomniac (if I may use the term) for more than 10 years, probably due to my work. I've read in a magazine that warding all thoughts by concentrating on something, like you're staring at a blank white wall, a white smoke, or imagining yourself inside a white tunnel will make you fall asleep. I did it, and I was amazed when I woke up remembering how fast I lost consciousness. Since then I had the malady (if you can call it that) cured. I have no trouble now making myself fall asleep when something bothers me. Busy thoughts will make one stay awake the whole time. By the way I have also tried warm baths, and warm milk but it helped me for only a couple of days.

What do you do when you have trouble falling asleep?Sometimes, I just can't unwind at night. I'd especially appreciate natural remedies and things that are easy to do when I'm restless.

How many of you suffer from insomnia? I know I go without sleep quite a bit! If you do suffer from this, what do you do to get by? And does it effect your quality of life? How long have you had it? Does it come and go? Or is it continuous?
