Have you tried a juice fast (Fat, Sick, + Nearly Dead)? How did you like it?
I watched the documentary, bought a juicer, and have incorporated juice into my diet. I'm still debating on trying a fast (I'm not a fan of the green-type veggie juices). Have any of you tried juicing on any level and had positive results?
I did and I wrote a hub about it. Juicing: A Weight Loss Miracle? It made me feel great and I lost several inches. I mix my veggies and fruits. Not a fan of green veggie juices either and discovered that a little piece of beet in the juice will change it to a more pleasant color without adding the yucky beet flavor. Good luck on your juicing adventure!
I haven't been on a juice fast but some while back I went on the Hollywood Diet I think it was called back then. It's really a high enzyme fruit diet focused around the pineapple which is very high in bromelain. This enzyme helps digest fats. I lasted somewhere around 9 days or so and lost some weight fast but didn't like feeling hungry. But I think eating high enzyme fruit like pineapple and papaya (eat them alone and not mixed with other meals) are excellent at helping burn fat even if one is not dieting. You might try putting them into your juice mix to amp up digestive power.
