Being kind to yourself starts a wonderful flow of things, what do you think?
cause you are kind to yourself, you get along better with others, as you don't judge yourself , you will also not judge others, making it easier for you to listen, and for others to share. this is what I feel. what do you think about it?
I am not certain that the two points you make are necessarily connected. I can be kind to myself and be an old grouch to others as a defense mechanism...I may consider being kind to myself as keeping others at arms length...
such is NOT the case with me however.
Being kind to myself enables me to be a better me.
My interactions are really not all tied up in my kindness to myself.
My kindness to others comes from another place.
I think you are right in a certain sense. Being kind to yourself, liking yourself, does improve your state of mind, which in turn would yield beneficial results. In a world that thrives on the suffering of others, I think if if everyone was to treat themselves first with kindness, accept themselves, no doubt, that would extend and spread because empathy would be there, and I think this world lacks greatly people who truly empathize with others' suffering be it internal or external. Good point.
