Why am I losing so much hair during my pregnancy?
I keep hearing about how women get thick, shiny hair during pregnancy. Ha. Not me! My hair is falling out more by the day, and it's getting hard to even keep it pulled back in a ponytail (all the hair keeps coming loose). This is my third pregnancy and I did notice some hair loss with the others as well, but nothing as bad as this one.
It's possible that you are lacking protein in your diet, the baby maybe taking more than your other children did during your other pregnancies. However, you may want to ask your OB to run blood test to check your protein level and other vitamin levels and see if there are any deficiencies that may need to be regulated. Good Luck!!
