Three years ago, this month, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was determined to be benign but it was at that point in my life that I decided to pay much closer attention to my body and my health. I was never in bad health to begin with but there is always room for improvement.
Almost everyday, health is my concern. So, I can no longer remember when exactly was the day I decided to be healthy.
I was an athlete when I was in high school, so I was educated on the importance of exercising and eating right, but that wasn't enough. After the death of a very close friend of mine, I decided that it was time for me to become "truly" healthy (body soul and mind).
