What things/animals you are afraid of or having phobia?
It might sound so absurd but, for me I am afraid of cockroaches!!! I just can't stand watching them. So, for you what things you are afraid of? and why?
For me it's spiders! Those creepy crawling critters scare the wits out of me.
big hairy spiders .... uuugh! even the thought of them makes me shudder!
It's cockroaches for me too. Once a small german cockroach was on a kitchen worktop and I threw a glass over it. Unfortunately the rim on the glass squished it in half and it was still alive and I couldnt bring myself to move the glass. I decided to use a fire torch to torch it to death. Took at least a minute and at the same time it kept popping like popcorn as well as smelt. The heat cracked the glass but I made sure it was charcoal black before I got someone else to get rid of the glass and cockroach. It must have been quite funny to watch because I was screaming whilst doing it with louder screams when it popped, lol.
Spiders... There just ain't a thing that scares me more on this world, I get numb and can't move if a big, iccky spider comes to near me - they are the most common reason I scream for help and later get "mocked" for it . I also noticed I feel rather uncomfortable with being close to big fishes (not the dangerous kind) when swimming.
Insects and rodents, can't bear even just the thought of them. I get these unsightly welts whenever bitten by insects and whenever I'm in a group those bloodsuckers always tend to flock towards me. I get the shivers thinking about it.
I get teased for this all of the time, but I am afraid of llamas. I had a run-in with one of these guys at a petting zoo when I was little. Haven't like them since!
I would have to say for me, snakes. I know there are books that will tell you which ones are poisonous and which ones are not, but I haven't read them yet. Snakes can make sudden moves and not knowing which ones are poisonous can be kind of creepy. Not to mention that the bite will probably hurt like hell fire.
Male workers coming into my house. Snakes, horrified. Spiders, only if they touch me. Also I am paranoid. Too many criminal minds, deadly women, dangerous animal, and possible death causes everywhere. Somehow I hide my fears from others. But I'm sure my psychology teacher knows all.
I think the one thing I am truely, out of mind terrified of, is cramped spaces, limited movement ... I have no idea why, I just don't find small spaces comforting. I would love to do cave exploration or diving, but I wouldn't make it through some of those spots they get into.
Wasps, hornets and yellowjackets. Only ones that have very bright yellow stripes, though. I can handle duller colored ones like carpenter wasps. And I'm fine with bumblebees, but honey bees do bother me a little.
Spiders scare the sh1t out of me, even though in the UK they are no bigger than two inches across.
Spiders eeeek because they run so darn fast !!! mice strangely enough dont frighten me as much as spiders ......
coakroaches!!! horrible with antennas and wings live in the drain pipes!!
I have a fear of clowns. I get freaked out when I see them and have to get away...weird, I know!
I don't like the big tree roaches that fly or the big banana spiders.
Getting stung by a scorpion hiding in your shoe, what a nightmare!!
Spiders! Especially Daddy Longlegs. Don't know why as they can't even bite us, but they are just too creepy-looking. Intellectually, I know they are mostly good, but I just can't stand them. My hubby is deathy afraid of snakes. I don't mind snakes, having grown up in FL & living in Texas, so I take care of snake issues and he takes care of spiders.
Spiders creep me out. I live in Australia and it doesn't help matters to know that some really deadly arachnids are on my patch. Snakes don't worry me so much because I was brought up with lizards. If you give a snake a chance to get away from you it will usually take it. Snakes are at their most dangerous when they are either trapped or guarding a nest. Spiders are there in their web in front of you and they aren't going anywhere. How many of those rotten creatures make their webs right in front of your front door or on the way to your front door? Nothing scares me more than actually bumping into a web late at night. Me? I wish there were more insect eating lizards in the world and a lot less spiders. I like lizards. I get along with them fine.
Rats! I hate them, they scare me, and they're icky! Sorry if anyone likes them... lol!
I wouldn't call it a phobia, but I hate, really hate spiders. They creep me out and if I know one is in the room, it has to go or I can't relax--okay maybe that is a phobia.
I am afraid of snakes and house centipedes with the long legs that detach and still wriggle. ugh!
For me it has always been spiders. I couldn't really tell you why. But even as I sit here just talking about my skin starts to crawl and I start to itch. Its horrible. It seems the bigger the spider the bigger the object I have to get in order to kill it. Lol
I guess I would have to say Snakes. Any snake makes me nervous but venomous
snakes really scare me. I recall something about in the South China Sea in Vietnam
their where 53 known venomous snakes and I swam in that water many times as
a young soldier.
cockroaches are the one thing that iam afraid of. They are so ugly.I really hate mothes, they are so dirty looking.
Mostly snakes and spiders - I hate big hairy spiders in particular!
I have a phobia of large sharks majorly.I tried to cure my self years ago by getting into a shark cage & there was someone else in there with me.The people up on the boat were chumming the water when a 21 foot great white cameout of no where. It started out ok for awhile until the shark wanted in.He or she started bitting the cage sides,I saw teeth & pissed my wet suit & pasted out. When I did that, the crue on the boat said the shark did something weird,it stoped what it was doing & looked at me.Then went down to the bottom of the cage & started to nuge me with its nose, then it just swam off.I will never do that again, period. But it doesn't stop me from going fishing, with a pistol at my side
I'm not afraid of spiders.I just let them crawl all over me.Exspecially my trantula!
Like so many others it's spiders eek. Even the small ones freak me out I don't know why but as far back as 'dot' i have been scared of them
I hate with a passion big spiders and snakes. Growing up as a child in the south, I saw a lot of these creatures. These childhood memories, I would love to forget.
for me it is cockroach and spider ... when i think itself i get shivering ...

Ok, so my ever-shrinking bladder wakes me up at 2 am. While in a most delicate position I see THIS:crawling up my bathroom wall. Much screaming ensues and it eventually pulls my husband out of bed. After I run screaming from the bathroom with my hands over my ears he smooches it(I...
