It depends how you would describe an addict, but in my opinion heck yes it's an addiction. Both that is...
It truly is. I believe that recent medical studies have showed that it is a disease. When you are addicted to drugs, your entire chemical balance is thrown off. After long uses, you actually alter the mind. Your whole perspective on life changes. Your mind begins to only release bad things. It only releases the good once you take the drug. Many people will disagree, that is their right, but it truly is a disease. Ask anyone on drugs and they will tell you. A life of an addict is very hard. Your mind controls everything, thoughts, emotions, pleasure, ect. One you are addicted, you loose all control. It takes special medications and THERAPY to recover. Without therapy, it doesn't work. And once your an addict, your one for life. Your mind will always think like an addict. Sounds like a disease.
