What is your favourite way to exercise, and why?

I like going for walks on local trails, because I can clear my head and enjoy nature as well. How about you?

I love playing sports for exercise.  Basketball and Tennis are my 2 favorite ways, kind of takes the monotony out of it as well for me.

I do the treadmill a lot and the past few months I've been using DVDs. They're helpful, and at times funny to watch!

I like to think I'm getting a workout while house cleaning smile  Other than that I like to bike ride because it's good exercise, not too difficult, and you get to check out the scenery.

You actually do get a workout when you clean house - I even wrote a hub about that a while back smile Glad you like bike riding - yes it is fun too

I use an elliptical machine because it's such a complete workout. I can even push and pull the handlebars to exercise my arms, or pedal backwards to use different muscles.

I used to use one at my parents' house - it's a tough workout! Thanks Judith

I like to walk but only when it's nice outside but I usually just do 50 situps a day. It's quick and easy and for me it shows some results.

I have to say riding a bike throughout the town is awesome exercise. I used to live in Missoula Montana, and it was something I did every single day, even in the rain. Such great exercise and the combination of getting fresh air, taking in scenery, it's win win.

I hate to "exercise" so it really has to not feel like I'm trying. There's  a park I love to take my 3 year old to that's about a 15 minute walk each way. Plus I love to actually play with my kid at the park not just sit and watch. The other thing that really gives me a sweat and some soreness the next day is playing interactive video games such as dance central for the xbox kinect.

I love to run outside. It de-clutters my mind and relieves my stress. Plus, I'm outside getting some fresh air.

I love walks, but I also enjoy Qi Gong, ashtanga yoga and weight training. These are my primary exercises but if I don’t get enough time I just pump out 50 each squats, push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups and get going.

Running with a group. Knowing you'll have friends there makes it much easier to show up in the first place, and the conversation as you run takes your mind off clock. Since joining a running club, I've been running more consistently, and having much more fun.

This time I really like doing the Zumba exercise.  I can dance, have fun while doing and following the exercise video.  Zumba is also very good for group exercise!

p90x is great! It gives you something regimented everyday so it's easy to stick to. The only fallback is you have to buy a pull up bar and some free weights.

Home fitness programs such as p90x and insanity to get real results.  Its better this way, because I know what to do everyday.

I enjoy long walks and swimming, but most I find working out at the gum during the week helps do destress my mind and body.
