When was the LAST time you did something for the FIRST time?
Your question really made me think. It also made me realize what a boring, creature of habit that I am. So, To be honest, I truly can't remember.
Yes, that is the whole purpose of the question. So many of us are creature of habit, yet it does our mind and body good to try something new every once in a while.
I had a go on a vibration plate in a gym last week, it was a bit of an odd sensation but quite good. Nice when it stopped!
About 6 weeks ago my husband and I went on our first cruise to the Bahamas; this was our first time applying for a passport, first time out of the country and the first time on a cruise ship.
when I started freelance writing on the internet, I wrote my first article on Triond out of anger against the abuse of the welfare system then a couple more political/society type articles. I enjoyed it so much I came to hubpages and yahoo and started writing about things I actually enjoy and haven't looked back since. that was around may of 2012
I recently signed up with the site MeetUp and showed up to some running events with what was at the time a bunch of strangers. Generally I would be very hesitant to jump in with a bunch of complete strangers, especially ones I met online, but it actually turned out very well. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I met some new friends, have some new running partners, and have finally reclaimed the social aspect of running. I wish I had joined up with them sooner.
Yeah! Thanks for sharing your positive experience of trying something new with a group of strangers. I am glad it worked out well for you.
Last Saturday (four days ago) I had my first autoharp lesson, and I played "Joy to The World." By Christmas, I'll be really playing. I'm so excited. Thanks for giving me a chance to express that.
Yeah! Good for you for learning a new skill. I bet by Christmas your talent will shine.
It really made me think. Honestly i think......i cant remember actually. So it gave me a real reflection of my monotonous life. I will sure like to change it.
Thank you very much for your question I started thinking it actually.
Yes, that is why I posed the question. We get so busy with life that before you know it, we are stuck in the same old routine. Time is passing quickly. I don't want to have a lot of "woulda, coulda, shouldas" at the end of my time.
OMG....thanks for selecting my reply as the best one...i never expected it. I much appreciate your question as well which is quite made me thinking....but well to be honest, i still cant figure out what should I do about it, Dear friend:-)

When was the last time you had a good laugh? In our world today, we see all the striff and turmoil around us that we become like stone, harden. Laughter has always been good medicine. When was the last time you laughed, not chuckled or gave a "ha ha", but a good hearty laugh?
