    Does satisfaction guarantee happiness ?

Whom amongst the following are more happy ??
"Satisfied people " or "Unsatisfied people"

Okay, now before you answer , go through following :

"Satisfied People" :: They are content with what they have and the quest inside them might not be that fierce. They have a potential tendency to go on the path of stagnation yet they have a balance somewhere.

"Unsatisfied People" : The quest in them is alive always . They are less likely to go on the path of stagnation yet restless.

A burglar might be be satisfied after a successful burglary but he might not be necessarily happy about his act. Thus I think all satisfied people might not necessarily be happy

Satisfied people are more likely to be happy. However, satisfaction does not guarantee happiness. Correlation does not mean causation. There could be another factor in the problem that we aren't considering. Because I know plenty people who are satisfied, but not well defined as happy.

There is no "real" satisfaction in this world; if there was, there'd be no frenzy to have the latest gadgets and gizmos; there'd be no crime due to people wanting something they are too lazy to work for the money to buy for themselves; there's be desire to always do and have better, and shopping sprees would decrease.
We humans have a gene in ourselves where we get what we want and then want some more.

"Want" is always there ....sometimes it's needed and sometimes it migth be the evil when it turns into greed !!! I guess happiness lies within ...and varies according to individual's perception...
