Why I get always electrified or shock?
whenever I hold things like door of the car, and door knobs in the house. These usually happens to me and sometimes scared me to hold things that I think I might get electrified. Im curious. Why is that happening to me always.
It's called static electricity.
It usually happens when the air has lost a lot of moisture, as often occurs indoors in winter time when windows and doors of buildings remain tightly shut. Running a humidifier in a room may help. If the outside air has more moisture, slightly opening a window may add moisture to the room.
Either inside or outside a building, static electricity may occur if you wear the wrong kind of shoes. Try rubber-soled shoes. If your clothes tend to cling and wrinkle, toss one or two sheets of fabric softener in your clothes dryer on wash day.
You didn't hear it here, but if you hold a friend's hand when touching a door knob or car door handle, he or she will get the shock. For some reason I can't get anyone to hold hands with me anymore.

I like it when someone opens a door for me, or offers me their seat. Am I politically incorrect? I expect to give up my seat to an old age pensioner, pregnant lady, child, but don't often see it happen. Why doesn't it? Isn't it just polite?
