    What presses your Hot Button?

What kind of stimuli is sure to get a response or reaction from you?

Money... short and simple. (Ooophhhs, Uncle HP says my answer is too short!).

There are others, but this one is SURE to get a response or reaction.

Well, Walter, that is as good an answer as any.

It would not be my answer, but diversity makes us all richer.

And there you have it, my response.

Money buys diversity. Without money, your choice of diversity is limited.
Money makes the world go round and enables you to go round the world. But without money, you can only watch, as the world go round, LOL.

I respect that as your view. It is true for you.

I have a very different experience.

Money buys things. If my values are not in things, money loses its importance.

And do I really want to participate in the world, anyway?

      Not me. Let it spin.

arguments. I really don't like arguments...
Or fried chicken. I know it's not the healthiest choice, but I love it, and I don't mind exercising it off!

Interesting! No argument from me. I always like to see how people respond.

I struggle with hypocrisy.  When someone says they stand for one thing but their lifestyle and actions tell another story.  Walk the walk and don't just talk the talk!

True as it may be, walk the talk or talk the walk sounds more hypocritical, right?

I can't stand it when people accuse me of being something I'm not, because they have misinterpreted what I've said or have their own preconceived notions about me. Often, I find that even when I'm being totally honest, they will read some other meaning into what I am saying...I'm not a hinter, I'm straight forward. This drives me nuts!

Sarah Christina, you are right. I'm now accusing you of being too honest and brutally frank, LOL.

Hypocrisy. I get frustrated those who tell you one way, then do the opposite or live in that manner.. at least on a consistent basis.

Do you have any theories on the root cause of this behavior?

It is the flawed human condition. I always bring things back to that, at least regarding behavior. We're not robots, yet have a great deal of control over our actions. We're all hypocritical at times, but to be so and often can be controlled by us.

What presses my hot button, someone trying to make me something I am not is my most frustrating thing about life.
