Spinach has a high nutritional value. It has a high calcium content and is considered to be rich in iron. It is a rich source of vitamin A ,vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, magnesium, manganese, folate, betaine, iron, vitamin B2, calcium, potassium, vitamin B6, folic acid, copper, protein, phosphorus, zinc, niacin, selenium and omega-3 fatty acids. Its my personal favourite as it has helped me to increase the haemoglobin level in my blood. It can be eaten in a variety of ways-freshly prepared juice, salad, soup, processed foods etc.
