Why is it all summer I want to sleep longer hours?
First chilly day today and I'm up at 4 a.m. Not a bad thing. I am a morning person. I get a lot done in the early morning hours. It's just odd to me. Is the cold air the culprit?
Hi Crafty, For me it's the exact opposite. The winter is when I want to hibernate you might say. It is just so hard to get out of that warm bed when it is frigid out.
Usually I will sleep longer hours in the winter... not the summer. I have blinds in my bedroom so it's pitch dark at any season .... so light is not the cause of it in my case. I think in Winter I like to be in my warm bed with the comforter... and may be it's why I sleep longer.
I find interesting that you sleep longer in the Summer time!
In Summer your body gets exhausted faster as you sweat and lose body salts. Therefore fatigue creeps in faster!
