    Sometimes it's because they're ahead of their time, like Van Gogh. Sometimes they are great artists but bad businessmen. Sometimes it's the field they're in. I think Muhammad Ali was the first boxer to be rich, but before him, boxers usually ended up poor. I think it also happens to skaters. Ballet dancers end up being teachers, unless they marry a millionaire in which case they can open up their own dancing school or even start their own company.These are some reasons, but there must be so many other reasons.

      Great answer!There are people who are ahead of their time &/or are programmed differently re:the work world.They're just not suited to the 9-5 organizational/bureaucratic nonsense! Many creative types if placed in mundane work situations will FAI
