when i was 6-7yrs old, my mom used to scare me that the witch will catch me if i don't sleep immediately at night.. I was so scared that I had nightmare everynight, when the room is dark pitch.
I don't think I ever outgrew being afraid of the dark! I still am today. I don't know what happened. There is a period of several years that I've blocked out of my memories when I was a child.
