Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes scaling and inflammation (pain, swelling, heat, and redness). Skin cells grow deep in the skin and slowly rise to the surface. This process is called cell turnover, and it takes about a month. With psoriasis, it can happen in just a few days because the cells rise too fast and pile up on the surface.
You should consult your health specialist or physician on what to do to treat psoriasis. Please do not try to treat it yourself or adapt a generic plan to do so. What works for one person who has psoriasis will not work and/or even harm another person with the same/similar ailment. Please go to a physician so he/she can implement a treatment program.
