How do You Use This Juice Extractor?
This is one of the utensils I found in my kitchen drawer when mopping up a broken egg. I've never used it, and didn't know what it was until I read the raised writing on it. I obviously thought it was a good idea when I bought it, but, like many gadgets, I have never felt moved to use it, and there are no instructions. I'm afraid that if I just poke it into any old fruit, it will just make a mess, and not be very useful.
I think you stick it in the end of an orange, pull it back out and remove the plug of orange. Then reinsert it into the hole and squeeze the orange. Orange juice should come out of the spout.
I used to have something like that-- but it was yellow, and used for poking into a lemon and squeezing the juice out, without slicing the lemon. Can't recall using it.
