Why do we value individuals lives who are full of sin less than a average person?
When a rapist, gangsters or hooker dies. Why are we less sympathetic? Is there lives worth less in our mind or we figure they had it coming?
The truth of the matter is very few people (genuinely) care about any of us!
If something happens to you then you're seen by the most part as a topic of the news. Naturally people tend to value less those citizens who chose to turn to crime and preyed upon those that were simply living their lives. If someone attacks you odds are you're not going to explore their background and sympathize with them.
