I am trying to remember a saying that they use in AA (grew up with alcoholics and when to lots of those meetings as a kid) that has to do with the correlation between your physical state and how well you are able to deal with stuff. It was about how if you are hungry or tired or not providing your body what it needs to function properly you are more likely to have a relapse. They had a cool acronym for it and I can't for the life of me remember it.
I found it. The saying is H A L T = Hungry Angry Lonely Tired.
