Do you have a moment when your mind goes blank and you can't remember something that you should?
Yes, I can list several moments blank when I need something out of it. My top two: 1) A friend's name when introducing them to another friend, and 2) going to look for or do something in a specific room and as soon as you get to the spot, fogetting what the world you went looking for in the 1st place. I don't like the second moment, that happens almost everyday.
I think everyone has a moment like that. Like when you start a sentence and then forget what you were trying to say. And, the same thing happens to me, I go into a room looking for something and forget what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, I think this happens more the older you get
This happens to me all the time. The most embarassing time it happens is in the classroom. I teach ESL to Korean children every day and sometimes the kids just have me so confused all talking at once that I really don't know up from down, let alone the specific word that has the connotations I'm looking for. I also have been known to go somewhere, and once I arrive there, not immediately remember why I had gone there in the first place. Oh my... I tell myself, and anyone who's interested that it happens to everybody. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Yes, once in a while that happens to me. I think it´s normal, after a time i remember again.
Of course ! This is normal for a hard working human with lots of other stuff on their mind. This happens when I meet a really hot guy..."What' did you say your name was?", "Eh ugh uh um me ?"
Yes it is called Deja' what?
Every once in a while I get that. Wait I was going to say something really funny.
Respectfully, I have read this twice
yes started happening to m right after I had my children, they took some of my brain out when they came out of me (just kidding, but sure does seem that way) Brain is coming back though now that they are a litle older and I can get some sleep!
Yes. I had a small stroke about 9 months ago and I frequently have memory loss.
When someone puts me on the spot, and asks me a question while I'm think about something totally different, I often have a moment where my mind goes blank. I feel bad when this happens though. Although this is true, I often find it to be one moment of the day where I feel at peace.

What goes into your mind when it rains? Some people are reminded of the pains they've been through when it rains, others are reminded of the happy times? How about you? Do you remember something specific when it rains?

Sometimes I have no question to ask - why?Sometimes my brain just stops and those questions that usually tick away in the back of my mind just stop. I do suffer from epilepsy - but that often???

How can you make yourself remember something from long ago? Does anyone have a foolproof method?
