After Lunch, rest a while - Is it okay for you?
I heard this saying since my childhood. Now, I try to practice it. After taking lunch, I take rest lying on bed for 5 or 10 minutes. But, generally, I feel restless doing so. I do not like lying like that.
What about you? Do you take rest after lunch? And is it good for you?
my lunch is usually light meal, tea with biscuits, mee siam, toast bread. After lunch, no lying down, you will feel worst because tummy still digesting the food. Either watch tv, use computer or reading.
I agree with you. I sit at computer after 5 or maximum 10 minutes.
But, I wonder at this saying that I quoted above.
I also eat a light meal at noontime; I do not recline, but I do sit and read for half an hour or so (book, magazine, cookbook, or my Bible), or do a crossword puzzle. Then it's back to work. I try to take one hour off (including time spent eating) and it revitalizes me.
That's good. I also spend one hour in lunch and some other hither-tither work from 1:15 pm to 2:15 then sit again at computer.

I was reading that Google will know if you clicked one of your ads from a different computer with a different IP address. For example, you go to work and go to one of your articles on your work computer and click an ad. It's the same as going to an internet cafe and doing it there, basically. I...

What is a good speed to run on when working on a treadmill?I have been trying to use the treadmill lately to work on my pacing problems. However, I am only running at a 4.5 which is (I don't remember exactly) but about a 14 minute or 13 minute mile. That seems so slow? Is that really accurate? And...
