    Cancer rates are only higher because cancer is far more likely to occur with age. People who didn't die of infections at 30 because of antibiotics now die of cancer at 60.

      True. I also now see a lot younger ones coming in. Perhaps the advance in screening helps. What's your thoughts there?

    Well everyone has dormant cancer cells in their body, and I think in today's society, even though we're more cancer aware, there are still plenty of things that trigger those cells to become active. I think cancer was still a major cause back in the day, but they didn't have the technology to diagnose or cure it, which is why it wasn't known that that's what caused the death.
