I've had a lot of sad days, but if I had to pick the saddest, it was probably when my cat Ashes died this past May. I had him for nearly 12 years and I loved him more than anything.
He's the cat in my profile picture, so I guess it's pretty obvious I'm still coming to terms with it.

Why is my nearly four year old cat still as playful as a kitten?She can play with anything--strings, boxes, my hair. She jumps on my back when I bend over. She's funny. I can get the other cats to play, but they lose interest more quickly. This one finds fun on her own. Still a kitten at heart.
