I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. This is a huge grief that takes time to heal. Give yourself permission to feel your emotions. For me I thought of it as riding the waves of grief. Also let yourself think of the happy times, even if you cry. You may struggle with guilt. Forgive yourself for what needs forgiving, and ask your mom to do the same. Try not to go into the realm of coulda shoulda. Be kind to yourself.
You will see her again, Zan79. Don't mistake the vehicle for the driver. We are immortal souls experiencing a human life, with all its joys and sorrows. We are Life Itself; a center conscious awareness Itself. And should we choose to meet again in the so-called 'After Life,' then we will.
