Is it really true that pregnant woman can give birth when she the unborn baby is seven (7) month?
A fetus becomes viable at around 27 weeks, which is the 7th month of pregnancy, and the beginning of the third trimester. However, preterm births come with all sorts of problems for the baby, so the longer it remains in the womb, the better the chance of having a health baby.
Doctors usually aim for 33-34 weeks as the earliest point they want to deliver a baby. Full term is 40 weeks.
My best friend was born at only 24 weeks. Not recommended but it can layers were not developed yet. Her weight was bearley more then a pound of butter. Now suvival chances are better. All my children were born at 37 weeks. The goal or ideal time is 40 weeks.
Yes, though the odds of complications and birth defects go up. I was that premature.
