    Could I be pregnant??

    My period is about 6 weeks late now. I am having very uncomfortable cramping in my lower right abdomen. I have been tasting metal and having weird dreams. I am currently breastfeeding already so I cant tell a difference in my breasts. I have taken 5 at home pregnancy tests and one in the doctor all negative. I have also been gaining weight, could I be pregnant and what should I do now?

    Likely not if you've had multiple tests come up negative this far past your missed period.

    Breastfeeding can really mess with your hormones and result in missed periods as well as some other strange symptoms that you're describing.

    If your doctor isn't worried about it (which I imagine they probably aren't as like I said, missed periods are common during breastfeeding) then try not to worry and let nature take its course.

      I was also going to comment about the breast feeding.  I never once got my period when I nursed.
