How can someone survive depression?
Is it curable? or it will stay forever as a threat
I have had it sense I was 16 and it can not be curable it can be maintained on the right meds.
Say 10 positive affirmations to yourself daily for 30 days. And then continue to say those affirmation for the rest of your life. This is one exercise that can help decrease depression.
You need the right medication at the right dosage, and a psychologist with whom you can speak naturally. He/She can teach you about behavior modification. Affirmations won't help because they encourage you to remain passive. However, memorizing the 23rd Psalm of the Bible is useful. It will give you hope during those moments when you feel hopeless.
That being said, you've got to take action by stepping out of your home to seek professional help from accredited doctors. Best of luck. There is hope.
