If it came down to it, given a certain situation, could you take a life?
Some situations call for violence, your family could be held at threat or something similar. If it came down to it could you take a life to preserve your own or that of another?
Yes, I could if it was in self defense, defense of a loved one or to save a multitude of people. But not for no reason.
One often doesn't know what they are capable of until suddenly a situation is thrust upon them. But yeppers, I reckon I could do it. Maybe too easily. I'll pray to God that I never have to be in such a position, and try to keep myself far from them.
People often say they can, I myself included. But I do agree with you.
In self-defense or in defense of a loved one I have no doubt that I could do it. Especially to protect my child, I wouldn’t have to think twice.
I’m sure that I would struggle to come to terms with it after the fact, though.
