How was 2021 for you?   Was 2021 GOOD to you or did 2021 KICK YOUR BUTT?  Will 2022 be BETTER or WORSE than 2021?

My arts and entertainment business international has been wiped out, gone of the days of shows with millions of attendance.

New open doors of tiny house communities and urban farming.

Life hasn't changed that much, but then I'm retired and so is my husband. Recently my two retired friends and I were discussing how fortunate we are to not have to worry about working during covid or sending children to school. We ladies all worked for 50 years and earned the pensions we draw. We do not feel entitled, but fulfilled. We have a fourth member of our little group who has a son in college in another state and a daughter in high school. She is a black attorney, one of the ones whom we worked under as legal editors for her work. Both of her children are smart and probably overachievers. She keeps us posted and reminds us how lucky we are to be retired. I do miss being able to see my friends and former colleagues. But she said the office is starting a project, and since I was the last to retire, all the experience went out the door with me. She asked if I would come in and explain it to her. I agreed that I would volunteer about 10 hours a week for a few weeks to give her a jumpstart. I'm looking forward to that.
My husband and I are nearly finished getting a house ready to be put on the market. Other than that, and grocery shopping, we don't get out much, but we don't really miss it.
