If you're getting more than once a year you're considered unhealthy.
The 'sickie' is a national symbol of revolt against the business establishment, shizer.....better put the whole of Australia on Shutdown
Let's face it. If an employer could really have his way, an employee would work seven days a week for a fifteen hour day. You'd get no sick leave. No compo. No holidays, and -if possible - no wages.
On the other hand, if an employee could really have his way, he's work a two hour day one day a week. He'd get 300 sickdays on full pay, terrific compensation money and would earn much more than his boss.
So what do we have? A very uneasy compromise. If workers earned no money, who could buy the boss's goods and services?
If there were no bosses, where how would the workers earn any money at all.
It's and endless problem, it seems.
