10 Things You Need to Remember

1. Get up at the same time

No matter how late you slept last night or how bad you feel, always get up exactly at the same time regularly because it helps you gain self-discipline. Make it a daily habit as a part of your healthy routine.

2. Be thankful

You may not notice how blessed you are because you are probably too busy focusing your attention on the things you currently do not have, so in case you forgot, you do not have to look elsewhere for glory because God has given you enough: good health, shelter, intact family & supportive friends are some of your greatest treasures. Open your eyes and witness your gifts & make sure to be grateful for having it all.

3. Watch the sunrise

Another day, another sunshine. Oversleeping may seem inviting, however only the morning sun could give you a smile for your entire day. It symbolizes hope as well as opportunity for you to start creating innovation, spreading optimism, cutting laziness, advocating wellness, & prevailing self-discipline. So, get out of that bed on time otherwise you will lose at least half of your time to make a change.

4. Slow down

Life is not a tracking field nor a competition, remember to slow your pace if you need to. Let your body calm down if you are exhausted otherwise you will faint & dehydrate. There is no time limit for how long you can rest however, see to it that you are doing more than less.

5. Hope is alive

As long as you are alive, no matter how hard the circumstances are or how bad situations may be, the more important thing is that you are granted today to alter the situation and make it a better one. Do not do it due to desperation though, consider planning your actions first to avoid further confusion & disappointment. Ask for assistance from family & friends because you do not have to do it alone. Also, take it one step at a time.

6. Practice independence

The primary role of your partner, family, relatives & peers are to provide support & back you up especially in times of trouble & sorrow. They do not control your life nor beautify it for you. Only you have the power & capacity to move yourself to the top, make your self happy as well as share happiness.

7. Be humble

The main source of defeat is by feeding the ego. It doesn’t only close the doors for closure & intimacy, it also destroys the good that is left between you & the other person. In addition, dwelling in it will provoke hatred which is very unhealthy to you. Learn to forgive & forget what has been wronged in the past. Today is more important than yesterday.

8. Pray

Before you close your eyes, spend a moment or two to dedicate a simple yet sincere prayer for everyone you love including yourself. Through this, your heart will become light & free from distractions.

9. Take care of yourself

Do not go outside with your hair all messy or let yourself stay in a dirty blouse or house, you will feel awful. Practice self-love because everything starts in you. Do not forget to be beautiful because it will bring good message to the world. Once they see you bloom, others will follow too.

10. Go on a holiday

Everybody needs a break from all aspects of life, no matter the age. Refrain yourself from too much pressure as it only leads to stress. Make sure to pause, live & breath at least one day per week so you can refresh your mind and start on a project again tomorrow.
