I, too, am a southpaw. I have heard that half of all left handed people are geniuses. It must be Horatio Plot, since I do not fit the bill.

It's funny. I'm left handed, but I surf regular foot.

Odd you mention that. I do everything left-handed/footed. Except bat. I bowl left-arm over (slow left-arm orthodox) but I bat right-handed. Oddly, David Gower was left-handed but batted right-handed.
Not that I'm comparing myself to David Gower you understand. Although I did once play against him at school. He played for King's, Canterbury and scored 103, a glimpse of things to come.

You had me fooled. I thought you were talking baseball, and it was some Yankee team that I don't care about.

I'm right-handed. But in honor of the day I just peeled 2 eggs ambidextrously.

      Good for you paradigmsearch.
By way of a thank you I tried to do the same right-handed with an Avocado. But I failed miserably.

You all know what they say about us southpaws, right?
Only left-handed people are in their right minds.
    They also say we're sinister.
    I think they're just jealous.
    smile

To celebrate this occasion, I'm running through the house with my special left-handed scissors. I am not a danger to myself or others, as left-handed scissors don't cut for sh#t.

I write with my left hand
I bat left handed when hitting in baseball
I throw left handed when pitching in softball
I shoot left handed when playing ice hockey
I kick with my left foot when playing football or soccer
I work at a computer with the mouse on the left side of the keyboard
I eat my food with the fork in my left hand
I drink my beverages from the left side of my plate
I even prefer to use the left entrance of the man cave
I have a stronger left eye and use the right side of my mind smile

I once broke my left wrist in college and was forced to take all my classes and exams with my right hand...
