I have missed each of you so much! Our internet connection went down on Dec 18th! We experienced some of the weather that was shooting across the west and over here into my neck of the woods. I had DSL and it was down and out. My provider would put in a ticket just to tell me to stay "patient". In the town over where the local library is located.
They were experiencing problems as well. Ugh! I spent the next week through Christmas sulking and a little depressed because of the storms and lack of internet. Then to add salt to the wound in my heart. My now former company would not consider giving me a credit for not being able to access the internet. So, I told them to take their business and stuff it in their stocking, I no longer will be a customer of theirs!
I had to wait the day after Christmas to find a internet carrier. The new company provides satellite! Yea~ and it is $60.00 a month for 10 GB a month.
Now, I can get back to what I love to do! And this is sharing with all of you and reading all your amazing work. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
And here is to all of us for a well connected 2014!
Happy New Year! :-)

Hi Hoe, welcome back to Hubland - you have been missed. I just wanted to stop by and say Happy New Year - hope you will be blessed with a wonderful year.
Wishing you and your family all the best in the New Year! I'll be in touch. Jean
Thank you. I have missed everyone so very much, too.
It is a horrible thing to lose the connection from the most
wonderful family a girl could ever have.
Many blessings for you and your family too, in this New Year! 2014 here we come! yea~! :-) :-)
Do you realize that your "J" key is next to the "h" key? (laughing out loud)
Thank you Sally for the wishes and I wish the same for you. And a new keyboard! :-) too funny... hugs! :-)
Reckon I need more than a new keyboard - this one is nearly worn out!. I am one of those people who touch type, the old fashioned way - must have been the wrong touch!!! Ouch!!
Apologies - thank for everything Jo - you are a Gem.
I type the old fashioned way I learned in HS, and our keyboard has many often used letters that are worn off. My husband and son do the two finger typing, but my son did it all through college and those 10 page papers they have to write. It's confusing my husband though, so I hope there's a sale at Staples or somewhere I can get a new keyboard.
Maybe Sally wore her keys out and they will no longer unlock the words.
Happy New Year my Dear Friend.
I am new here on HubPages, Sorry you went through all that, especially the bad weather, it looks where I leave is getting the bad weather you just had. It has been snowing for a good while here. The weather here in PA can get pretty bad at times, but all in all I try to not let it get to me. I am glad you got your intent service back. Hope to talk to you on here soon.
I am sending prayers up there to you to stay safe and keep warm! We have an inch of snow here in the mountains of Kentucky. So pretty. We are hunkered down and enjoying our coco with marshmellows! yum
Welcome to Hub Pages..I look forward to reading your work. :-)

We are having Christmas at my daughters home this year so I'm all packed up and won't be back for a few days. (Chances are slim that I even get the laptop hooked-up... there are just going to be too many games that I need to play my grand-daughters).I'd like to take this opportunity to wish ALL who...

In the interest of lightening things up a little and spreading a few smiles, I have created a new hub to celebrate the New Year. It is not a paying type hub, just a collection of funny photos. I hope it manages to raise a few smiles and perhaps upset a few people I will be deleting the hub in a few...
