In the interest of lightening things up a little and spreading a few smiles, I have created a new hub to celebrate the New Year. It is not a paying type hub, just a collection of funny photos. I hope it manages to raise a few smiles and perhaps upset a few people big_smile

I will be deleting the hub in a few days, so I hope you get the chance to enjoy a smile or two before it goes. This will also give those of you who know me a chance to look inside Mark's head - now you understand.  big_smile  In the meanwhile:

Of course, those of us in Europe will be in 2008 before others in the US. What about the Aussies? Are they first?

I think they are last. I might be mistaken, though...

The Christmas Islands are first, then New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, some of Russia, Australia....

I was going to say that NZ beats Oz by about 2 or 3 hours.

      Damn those Christmas Islanders!

That means they also get Christmas first!

They really know how to rub it in.

Surprised they didn't call it "We Get Christmas First Island".

    Thank you ang.

Darkside -  I think that's what it used to be called, but they had to change the name because people kept getting upset.

I'll get right on that successmentor. big_smile

Is there a smilie for sarcastic ?

      The : rolleyes : one.

Though the one available here doesn't have quite the caustic effect I've seen on other eye rolling smilies.
