Different colors affect our brains in different ways. Blue and green tend to have a calming effect and that's why those colors are good in bedrooms. Pale shades of pink make us feel uncomfortable and weak, and that is why the locker rooms for away teams are often painted in pale pinks in sports centers. Red awakens passion and heat in us, and it is perhaps therefore that it has become the color of love and romanticism.
