If you could invite anyone as a guest (modern, historical or literary figure) to Christmas Lunch...
- who would it be and why? What would you like to ask them?
Oh easy, Samuel Clemens (aka: Mark Twain). We'd have such a great conversation and laugh a lot at all the human tomfoolery.
Think it would have to be Charles Dickens accompanied by the muppets. Dickens could narrate A Christmas Carol whilst the muppets acted it out.
Sir William Wallace aka 'Braveheart'.
Because he is, unquestionably, the greatest Scotsman to have lived, and died, for his Country.
I would ask him to tell me, in his own words, what really took place in his fight for Scotland to be free.
I agree with Rob Hanlon - a famous Scot like Sir William Wallace or King Robert The Bruce would be fab!!!
