Birthday Present Ideas?
Any hubbers have any unique ideas for a birthday present for a 14 year old boy? Many thanks in advance for responses.
Well depends if this boy is into games, if so I'd check www.play.com and see what's on there, or any other retailer. My brother is 12 so that's the only comparison I've got; and he only wants game at the moment.
I agree with Indigital on the game idea. Perhaps a gift card to a store that specializes in video games. That way, he can pick whatever game he wants and it'll be less of a hassle for you if you were to buy a game, and he already has it, or something of the sort. That, or maybe even clothes. I know that 'clothes' are usually deemed as a gift for a girl, but these days, I constantly hear 14 and 15 year old boys obsessing over clothing stores, what they're wearing, and clothes in general. If you know his style and favorite stores, you could always go and buy him something you know he'll like.

What should I buy for a birthday present? My mum is turning fifty and I am still wondering what present to give her. Jewellery? Something else? In our culture, turning 50 is a special event! It has to be a special birthday gift.
